INSTRUCTIONS

(1) All lesson plans can be found under the LESSONS tab.

  • Choose as many lessons as you would like to test out. Some lessons are broken into shorter activities, and each lesson should take no more than 45 minutes.

  • Within each lesson plan, you will find links to all the materials that you will need.

  • Click here for a one-page OVERVIEW OF CONSERVATION NATION ACADEMY LESSONS.

(2) Teacher Feedback Forms are linked in each lesson plan and are also available at the end of the LESSONS tab.

  • After testing a lesson with your students, please use the Lesson Feedback Form to provide us with information about how many students participated in the lesson and give us as much additional feedback as you would like, positive and/or negative. Your feedback will be valuable in helping us create meaningful lessons for national rollout in 2025.

  • On the Lesson Feedback Form, you can also indicate if you would like to be recognized with a certificate and/or listing on the Conservation Nation website.

(3) We also greatly appreciate getting feedback from students through the Student Evaluation Form.

  • One form per student should be filled out only after completing all the lessons that you intend on piloting as a class.

STIPENDS: If you teach at a Title I school, you are eligible to receive a stipend of $300 for your time in giving us feedback.

Please fill out this INTENT TO APPLY FOR A STIPEND to review the requirements and indicate your interest as soon as possible. You can also find this form in the LESSONS tab under the last section: “Teacher & Student Evaluation Forms.”

SHARING PHOTOS OF STUDENT WORK: We would love to have photos of students doing lessons or photos of student work. Please email them to us at education@conservationnation.org.

THANK YOU!
